All the right bits and more material for porting than the late PX150 motors, if you plan on making it go faster. Gearbox for those early EFLs is as per PX125E (late one = PX200 gearbox). It'll have the 6 spring clutch, which is not so good if you're looking to increase the power. Bore=57.8mm, stroke=57mm

I'm going to see if I can clean it out and put things back together with the right parts. Last time I did this I went with a DR 177 (different engine and scooter). I'm wondering if anybody has any suggestions?
Both will certainly be a good job to have done on each engine, especially if it improves my ride, which actually feels good other than the vibration. (I'm going to do my drain repair on the other engine too, so I can get it off my bedroom floor, where it’s been for the last six months; more on that later). I’ll update when I do it to show if I encounter any problems that others might want to avoid later…….
