Vespa 125 (V30)With the V30T, Piaggio abandoned the choppy linkage system in favour of the more precise cable-operated shifting system still in use today. The exhaust, previously located under the luggage compartment jaw, is now positioned transversely between the taverse of the engine swingarm and the rear wheel, for which the frame is adapted accordingly. The fuel tap is no longer operated with the pull hook, but with a fuel tap lever with knob for three positions: closed(C)-open reserve(R). The effect of the rear brake is improved by a larger diameter of the brake drum. The dark green caliper cover is closed at the front, so the front caliper spring is no longer visible.
