Add to that a brake lever/master cylinder combo and the brake hose, then things are getting close to the PK fork conversion price, which is probably what I would do next time for a tuned oldie. To fit the kit and to do anything to the hub, axel or the caliper, once the kit is fitted, you have to remove the disc from the hub by removing the 5 torx head screws. The kit fits straight onto the exisitng forks with no drilling or welding, so you can easily revert back to the original brakes. OP DRC174 Enthusiast 1978 P200E Joined:Posts: 78Location: Ohioquote Bike in question: Vespa Rally 200, 1974, FemsatronicThe plan:- Rebuild the engine- Replace the Femsatronic with a PX Ducati ignition- PK fork disc brake conversion- Powdercoat a bunch of stuff, incl shrouds, hubs, headlamp ring, etc. So we decided to go ahead and put the Mazzuchelli PX crank into the Rally and run a lightened Ducati ignition. Using a modified PK fork, fitted for Sprint, Rally, etc. I painted the fork black (after priming it of course). As a shock, we came across a very gently used, 195mm BGM PK shock, perfect for this!
