The History of the Vespa Club of IsraelThe Vespa Club of Israel has a rich history dating back to the 1950s, when it was first established by Matityahu Sarlin with the goal of promoting the use of Vespa scooters as a popular and cheap means of transportation. The Current Vespa Club of IsraelToday, the current Vespa Club of Israel has been formally established in Tel Aviv since 2007, and is open to all Vespa owners, regardless of the model or age of their vehicle. From 2014, the club has been recognized by the Vespa World Club ( VWC ) as an official national club. Another popular destination for Vespa club trips is the Sea of Galilee, a freshwater lake located in northern Israel. The Ramon Crater is another destination that is often included on Vespa club trips.
