This 1968 Vespa Sprint 150 is finished in silver and powered by a 145cc two-stroke single paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The scooter was reportedly repainted and refreshed under prior ownership, and it was acquired by the seller in 2015. This Sprint 150 is now offered at no reserve with a California title in the seller’s name. Suspension consists of a single-sided trailing-link front end as well as a single shock at the rear. The air-cooled 145cc two-stroke single is integrated with the rear swingarm and transfers power to the rear wheel through a four-speed manual transmission shifted by the left-side twist-grip.
DescriptionComplete AC Wiring Harness for Vintage Vespas. This is a very common wiring harness for a number of Vespas made from 1961-1977. It's an all AC harness that's designed for scooters that have the following electrical equipment: Headlight (Hi & Low), Pilot light, Horn, Brake and Tail Lights. This harness will work for any AC Vespa Small Frame scooter that has the same electrical system described above. Note, if you're going to be installing this in a Small Frame the wires at the junctions box at the motor will be excessively long.
Founded during the early 1880s as a naval supplier and then progressing to include products for the railway industry, Italy’s Piaggio & Co. has been involved in transportation from inception. Following the dawn of aviation, aircraft engines were a company strength, with the company’s products powering many of Italy’s front-line civilian and military aircraft before and during WW II. Civilian aircraft types have long been a company strength, including the futuristic turboprop-powered Avanti business aircraft of the 1990s. In response to the intense public demand for useful consumer products, Piaggio believed that a nimble, streamlined, and stylish small motorcycle would give Italians a new and affordable means of transportation. Steadily developed and refined over the following decades, the beloved Vespa continues in production today and enjoys iconic status among multitudes of admirers and collectors.
