I've installed and tested all available performance mufflers, which include PM Tuning Pipe, Scorpion stainless steel, Scorpion titanium, Leo Vincent and the Sito Plus. Again, under the conditions that I drive in, the one-and-only can to go with is the Sito Plus and here's why. The Sito Plus is by far the easiest to fit and maintain - and I discovered only a marginal difference in ooomph and mileage with Sito Plus. Where as the Sito Plus has gone for some 3,000 miles with no problems, the other pipes had to be refitted or repaired within the first 800 or so miles after installation. In the end, I figure how each of us customizes our own Vespa is a matter of taste and where we drive.

I have a Vespa LX 150, bought as new in 2006. But for many years I have gathered like a hoarder lots of parts to upgrade it. New rear tire whitewallNew exhaust : Sito Plus for LX 150New gaskets everywhere and new sealed nuts where needed. Before , with old parts and 150 cc, I was able to ride with one full tank , 8L, for around 220 - 250 Km.

My halogen bulb is 35/35W same as what's recommend but when on long drives I start to smell something weird then my lens came off the headlight and I thought it was just a factory mistake so the company that I got it from sent me a replacement for free. Forward a few months and I am doing some work on the scooter and my friend told me the issue was because halogens get hotter than normal bulbs and thars why they smell weird because it's melting the headlight. So should I go back to a normal bulb, find a different halogen or research some led kitsThis is the bulb I'm currently using 12V Blu-Xe Halogen lamp - S2 - 35-35W - BA20dThanks

Hi Timmy...how well did you find the installation? Easy, hard? What recommendations do you have for others regarding installation? Thanks, and congrats on your new front shockit takes about 20 minutes total, very easy work, just need the right tools because the workspace is limited..for the setup, i put the preload setting half from max and the rebound setting about 7-8 click from slowest rebound.. i think it is okay for normal road but for bumpy road maybe i should make the rebound little bit faster... it is quite easy installation.. i did it with help from my friend, two people will make it even easier... you just need to remove front wheel first, then remove two bolt that hold suspension arm from the shock, then just remove another two bolt under the front fender that attached to the shock.. after removing two bolt, the shock are free and you can remove the last bolt that attached at the shock bracket then replace it with new ones..it takes about 20 minutes total, very easy work, just need the right tools because the workspace is limited..for the setup, i put the preload setting half from max and the rebound setting about 7-8 click from slowest rebound.. i think it is okay for normal road but for bumpy road maybe i should make the rebound little bit faster...
