She is 5'3" and could just not get comfortable with the seat height of a modern Vespa. After trying a number of scooters, she chose a Buddy 125 which she still rides today. Frankly I wouldn't want anyone to ride without taking the MSF course. At 5'3" I'd also suggest the Buddy 125. I said no so he replaces the front crown and rear cowls with black, two toning it for under $200.
I have 1966 Vespa 150, bought it a few years back from a guy in LA. It was rebuilt and only has a few hundred miles since the rebuild. It generally runs very well but recently engine died like it had run out of gas. but after a few minutes it backfires through the inlet manifold and shuts down. Would appreciate any help - as I just spent all day playing with it and getting nowhere�BAZZA PWas this post helpful or interesting?

So gas prices have brought me back and I have narrowed my choices to the Vespa LX 150 (Or the LXV 150) vs. Aprilia Mojito 150.Here are the questions I have:1) Does anyone know of af any nuances or changes fromt he 2004,2006, or 2007 Mojito models? I also like that its plastic and (I believe) that means cheaper to fix. Lastly, I can put both feet squarelyon the ground when I sit on the Mojito not so on the Vespa (I am 5'4 and 3/4).Looking for support on Mojito preference I guess? Does anyone have any repair experieince with the Mojito or the Vespa? Is an Apilia cheaper to fix than a Vespa?Your in out in greatly appreciated!!
