This 1970 Vespa Sprint is finished in black and powered by a 146cc two-stroke single paired with a four-speed manual transmission. This VLB is offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of its current owner with a clean Wisconsin title in the owner’s name. Suspension consists of a single-sided trailing-link front end as well as a single shock at the rear. The 120-km/h speedometer contains a six-digit odometer showing 465 kilometers (~289 miles), 10 of which have been ridden under current ownership. The air-cooled 146cc two-stroke single is integrated with the rear swingarm and transfers power to the rear wheel through a four-speed manual transmission shifted on the left grip.

I also took off the cylinder head and checked the piston, and checked for spark using my drill. Oh, and i changed it back from the pollini air filter system to the original, with the bellows. Then my wife suggested an Allen key - we thought the hex shape might offset the shearing force(s?). Next up, the same friend who helped me clean the carb said they can help me time and tune it.
