Currently I have the motor pulled and am rebuilding it. I will post questions here as well, so please if you have an answer don't hesitate to post a response. I obviously have a lot to learn, but you kind folks have already helped so much. also, it's easier to just dismiss something out of hand rather than sit and write a dissertation on the how's, why's and what-have-yous about these bikes. the sidecar *might* have some value, and the motor *could* potentially be decent if it was replaced and not the slap ass wore out unit it probably is. and even if it was crazy cheap, the likely hood of problems lurking in there is nothing you want to deal with unless you're a glutton for punishment or have deep, deep pockets. the sidecar *might* have some value, and the motor *could* potentially be decent if it was replaced and not the slap ass wore out unit it probably is.

I knew the engine was seized, I have rebuilt many engines so that did not scare me away. After reading lots of websites and looking for parts I am now more confused than ever, so here are my questions. Hi allI have just bought my first scooter, a project 1963 Allstate.
