My vespa px 125 has electric start . I went to work on it one day it started with electric start , starting it up to come home it would not start with electric start, only with the kick start. I keep hearing a buzzing from the battery side panel so renewed the relay where the buzzing was coming from still not start, so renewed the electric start lever switch still no joy. In regards to the rest of this about electrics start causing all these problem I have a 98 P200 with the orginal electric start and bearing , its done 12000 miles and i use the electric start a least once evey time I ride it. Apart from the normal cleaning of contacts that you would have to do on any started motor I have never had any problems.
