Brake Light wires? I don't have a wiring diagram (as if I could read one anyway)... but was wondering if anybody happens to know what color the brake light wire is? I have the seat off and traced the wire loom that runs back to the signals and brake light. I already know the running light is red, because I tapped into it to drive my accessory relay. I'm trying to wire in an extra LED brake light.
3PST is three poles, single throw. The three poles (3P) allows you to switch three separate circuits with one switch. SPST is a single pole single throw. The single pole allows you to switch only one circuit with the switch. If you only had the green light, no connection on the other side acts as a single throw.
Fuse error in service manual? 2009 KLX 250SOn page 16-15 of the service manual the diagram shows "Ignition fuse" and "radiator fan fuse" in the main box under the seat. From my notes:"The "ignition" fuse is actually the headlight / tail light fuse: the turn signals still worked and the bike ran with this fuse blown." There is also supposed to be a 20 amp "main fuse" located near the starter relay. So, given the symptoms maybe you blew the fuse labeled "ignition" because this is actually the "lighting *minus* the turn signals" fuse.
