The CBR400RR, sitting between the CBR600RR and CBR650R, is rumored to feature a 399cc engine, aerodynamic fairings, and advanced tech. Honda's plan for the CBR400RR to extend beyond Asian markets would provide direct competition to the Kawasaki ZX-4R on a global scale. We’re particularly talking about Honda, which is rumored to be working on an inline-four CBR400RR. Honda Already Has A Four-Cylinder 399cc Engine To Put In The CBR400RRHondaKawasaki based its 399cc, inline-four engine on the ZX-25R’s 249cc powerhouse. That’s because the CBR-maker already has a 399cc, inline-four engine in its recent past.
